About me
From unease to steadiness

For a long time, I lacked a solid foundation of trust in myself. My childhood was marked by unrest, separations, and emotional insecurity, which meant I often adapted myself and rarely felt truly seen.
I built a life: a degree, a move to the Netherlands, a loving partner, and a family with two children — a deep heart's wish that came true. At the same time, tension, fears, and a strong sense of responsibility lived on inside me. A tight neck and shoulders became a companion — a physical trace of everything I carried, often without realizing it myself.
In stressful periods, this quickly built up. I worried a lot, found it hard to relax, and kept going even when it had already become too much. I only felt my limits in hindsight.
My difficult relationship with my mother also played an important role in this. Seeing her — which, due to the distance, didn't happen often — could occupy my mind a great deal. Always somewhere in the background. Later, my relationship with my father became complicated too: emotionally unavailable, with no room for affection.
Traces in my body
This also showed up physically: tension in my body, shallow, rapid breathing, and a restless, worried feeling, often right from waking up. From the outside, things seemed to be going well, but underneath the surface lived self-doubt and a constant state of alertness.
Until the moment in 2020 when I emotionally hit a wall and became caught up in fear, partly due to the uncertainty of the pandemic. What I had long pushed away came to the surface. That became the beginning of a process in which I learned, in a new way, to feel, to pause, and to understand myself better.

What helped me
By pausing and looking at myself with attention, something began to shift. Not all at once, but slowly.
I learned to recognize my patterns and to feel what was truly alive in me. I learned to slow down, breathe more consciously, meditate, and listen to my body. I became gentler with myself, and at the same time clearer about what was happening within me.
When my family was struck by a great loss in September 2023, this took on even more meaning. What I had built helped me deal with it — and still does, every day. During that period, I also discovered a resilience within myself that I hadn't thought possible.
I've learned that even in difficult periods, something can shift, if you're willing to look, to feel, and to let go of what no longer serves you. That takes courage. But it's precisely there that a new way of moving forward emerges.
“ What we observe in ourselves, we can change. ”
What drives me
The willingness to feel, and in doing so, to experience more calm and a sense of direction.
I believe we don't always have to understand ourselves alone. Together, you see more. By sharing and placing your experiences alongside someone else's, you find recognition — and sometimes, a new perspective opens up something you couldn't see yourself yet.
Recognizing patterns and understanding yourself better is not a finish line. Staying curious is exactly what creates room for new insights and different choices.

I'm fascinated by the connection between the psyche, the body, the brain, and our emotional world — they are one whole. The more we learn to recognize that connection, the more steadiness, balance, and calm we can experience.
My expertise lies in that interplay: not only what's happening in your mind, but also what your body is telling you, and how your nervous system and old patterns play a role in that. And above all: how you can take gentle, loving care of yourself along the way.
Who I am
I'm curious and open. Calm and reflective, but also energetic and lively. Others describe me as warm, empathetic, and someone who truly listens.
I love simplicity in the moment. Deep conversations, but also laughing together and playfulness. I recharge through meditation, nature, and the inspiration around me.
And, like every human being, I'm still in motion. Learning, growing, and finding my place more and more.
